All of our coaches are available for private lessons. Lesson rates vary by coach and experience but range from $11.00 - $33.00 per 20 minute lesson. If your lesson is on an open freestyle session, a fee of $13.00 must be paid to the rink for the ice time. The Pond offers a 10 session swipe card for $120.00.

Heather Nichols Is currently the Pond's Learn to Skate Director. Heather comes to us from The Owens Center in Peoria Illinois, where she ran the Learn to Skate Program, implemented ISI ice shows, and ISI competitions. Heather was also head coach for the Peoria Pizazz Team which included Synchronized Skating, Synchro Dance, Formation Teams and Team Compulsories

Emma Phibbs is from originally from Washington, DC and has been skating since the age of 3. She has trained with Russian Technique, competed Senior Paris; US Team member and five (5) time National competitor. Emma is now Internationally representing Italy. Emma is most comfortable coaching pairs, along with singels jumps & spins. Emma is typically Available M-W-F after 5:15 or Mornings 9:25a-11:00a. Emma's areas of strength are Singles & Pairs Choreography and Music Editing. Emma's Highest Test Passed: Senior Pairs, Freestyle, Moves.

Rose Willard has 19 years of competitive figure skating experience and has been coaching for seven years. She holds a B.S. in exercise science with a focus in coaching from the University of Delaware. She specializes in Basic Skills, freestyle and Moves in the Field on the ice and specializes in sport specific conditioning and Pilates off the ice. She has outstanding communication skills with children, a positive personality with the belief that great accomplishments can be made through positive reinforcement, and is motivated and creative. Rose is also co-founder of Paradigm Fitness LLC, a one-on-one sports performance training facility at The Pond.

Patty DeLisi has been training competitive skaters for U.S.F.S. and ISI for 30 years. Formerly with the Ice Capades, she has her U.S.F.S. Gold medal in dance. She holds three Master Ratings with the Professional Skaters Association. Many of her skaters have progressed from the beginning level through their U.S.F.S. Gold medals with Patty as their private coach. She has worked for the Washington Capitals as their Power Skating Coach.

Nate Bartholomay Nate is from Newtown, PA and has been skating for the last 11 years.
Nate is a National and International competitor. He placed on the following: National Pairs Novice 3rd in 2006, National Pairs Junior 6th in 2007, and 5th in 2008. Nate's coaching intereste are All pair elements, singles, jumps and choreography. Nate is a jumps and pairs specialist. Trains full time as a Junior Pair with Erika Choi Smith.

Christy Stowell Christy began skating in 1989, at the age of 6. She is a USFSA Double Gold Medalist and spent her competitive career training under World and Olympic coaches in Los Angeles. She skated professionally with Disney On Ice from 2005-2008. She has four years of coaching experience.

Erika Choi Smith Erika has been skating for the past 13 years. She is an International Singles Skater and a she is a National Pairs Skater with Nate Bartholomay. Erika loves to skate and teach others how to skate. Erika has been coaching for the last eight years. Erika's strengths are Freestyle, Pairs, Moves and Stroking.

Zoe Reed Zoe was a competitive figure skater in freestyle and ice-dance. She won the silver medal at the Collegiate Nation Championships at the international level in ice dance. Zoe has been coaching for five years, she coaches moves in the field, ice dance and freestyle. Her 12+ years in dance has given her the experience to choreograph on the ice.

Emily Falah Emily is originally from Plymouth, Massachusetts. Emily has been synchronize skating for nine years, and has spent the last six years skating with Team Delaware. Emily has competed at many levels up to and including Intermediate and has earned medals over the years. Emily's overall interest is in coaching Synchronized Skating, Basic Skating Skills, Moves in the Field and Freestyle. Emily loves to coach and currently coaches level one and tots.
